Yes I am leaving...

So i thought it best that I post and clear up any chinese whispers that might be going on.

On Tuesday this week I put in my notice to the new management team here at AE/CW Group, my reasons for doing so were based on but not limited to:

Not agreeing with the new management style/techniques
The huge rise in complaints
My own personal/business ethics

It's been one of the most difficult decisions of my life as I've spent 9 years building up AE and trying to make it the best that it could be in a market space stroon with pitfalls for affiliates, players and affiliate managers alike. Some of you may not belive the effort that I've put in but if you ask my wife about it, she'll confirm that i've p!ssed her off many times over by spending too much time on my laptop or mobile or ipad trying to keep my affiliates happy 'after hours'.

To see what I classed as my baby in the current state hurts probably more than most of you know. I have litterally no option but to say goodbye and work my 9 weeks contracted notice. I will not be taking on any new business in this time.

I would like to thank all that have worked with me/us over the last 9 years and thanks for all the love and support and issues. Through good times and bad, the paths and words that have crossed were truly out of commitment to what i believed in.

I'll still be around but should you have specific concerns, please send them on to my email and i'll forward them to the management team to address.

I hope to remain in the industry should I find a role that fits me and I fit it so hopefully I'll see you around?

Likewise. We've only ever done crumbs with AE because we're primarily UK facing, but I massively appreciate you [not visibly] tiring of my annual questions about the US market even though it never went any where*.

Wherever you end up will be lucky to have you. And there are quite a few programs that need a good kick up the arse at the moment, hope you stay in the business!

* Although it is ironic that we'd finally decided to open a site up to heavily target the US. Looks like we may be back pedaling on that!

I would like to personally thank you for all you've done for me and for all other affiliates. For more than 10 years I worked alongside Affedge and saw it grow to become one of the most amazing affiliate programs I've ever worked for. For no other reason than your personal care and efforts.

During all these years, not one single payment was late (more than 1 day).. My business flourished a lot more thanks to your efforts.

I am sickened to the stomach to read about what has been going on. And would like to openly express my full trust in you PERSONALLY. I know you would NEVER detag players. And, it testifies as such that you're now leaving.

NEVER in my mind could I imagine that it could go this way.

Martyn, I have never met you but I applaud your decision to leave AE. I have never promoted AE very much, simply because their brands are not interesting for my players. Nevertheless I was very well aware of you and the magic that you were doing for affiliates. I have read through the casinomeister thread & statement and it seems to be pretty clear what is happening.

Integrity is such a rare and important quality. Particularly in an industry which - let's be honest - is shady by nature. I trust the judgement of my fellow affiliates that you are a straight arrow and I hope you will soon find yourself in a new role.

I don't know Martyn, but I can just have respect for leaving this company for this reasons instead of staying there and selling their crap to players, affiliates, etc.

We need more guys like Martyn in the industry - one of the few AM's I've worked with who treated us the same when we were sending a lot of depositing players as when we were sending zero. I'm bummed to read the developments but applaud your decision to do the right thing. Automatic promotion on my network whenever you land somewhere, for sure.
