Is it Revshare on NGR (net gaming revenue) or is it Wagering on Theoretical Edge. Both models are very different to each other.

The theoretical edge, would equate to, lets use slots and an example. If the TRTP is 3.77%, then an affiliate earns a very-low % of that figure. To put that into plain English, the affiliate is paid F#ck All

Earn 10%+ of net revenue from the house edge for every bet made. Take money from Shuffle, not your friends. Earnings are based on theoretical house edge (0.1 Net Theoretical House Edge Wagered Amount).

@ 25% that's $0.025 cents (2.5 cents paid to affiliates) per $100 wagered... lo-fing-l!

Sorry for the confusion - moderator has removed mention of rev share in the original post. Thank you for pointing that out.

Shuffle's current affiliate program is based off Theortical Net Edge or what is commonly known as Wager Share.

You mentioned that based on our current model that an affiliate would only recieve 2.5 cents per $100 wagered. This is incorrect - I'm sorry we didn't include comission calculation in the original post.

To calculate approx. affiliate earnings based on Shuffle's current affiliate commission model:

Wagered Volume * House Edge * Affiliate Rate * 0.5 (This is to account for affiliate benefits and bonuses; where the 'net' comes in)

So to find out how much you'd make if your rate is 25%, the game has a house edge of 3.77% and the wagered volume is $100:

$100 * 0.0377 * 0.25 * 0.5 = $0.47

Therefore, you'd make 47 cents for every $100 wagered.

FYI... I've been an affiliate for 23 years, I commenced at 39 years of age. Hence, I'm no fool.

Sorry for the harsh words BUT this wagering model is a pure ripe-off for affiliates and anyone who promotes Shuffle.com

1.3% for slots-play is fair and honest return based on Theoretical RTP (or Edge as you put it).

EG - $1.30 per $100 wagered. Anything less is dodgy.

If RevShare and CPA are in the pipeline, and knowing this Wagering isn't ideal, I'm surprised you didn't hold off until you actual had a 'proper' affiliate program up and running, instead, of this Mickey-Mouse rip off.

A cynical person may wonder if you went with this option, in hope, a % of GPWA members would signup to this smoke and mirror charade.

We're open to criticism and encourage all feedback! It's the only way we can improve!

We initiated the wager model because we give a LOT back to our players (upwards of ~70% back). There are many promotional incentives for players to sign up, and more importantly, to stay on. Thus, this affiliate model has worked well so far (for both existing affiliates and us), but I understand that to continue growing and appeal to more affiliates, we will need to offer more options.

You're right - we may have jumped the gun by not launching with a revenue share for GPWA. When I say it'll be available, I mean it will be ready in the coming month, so we thought it'd be good to get on here and start receiving feedback on anything else affiliate-related. We build pretty fast, so any suggestions from affiliates on what could make their lives easier (and make business more successful) will be heard and acted upon quickly.

No need for the apology! Thank you for being critical and helping us understand how to improve our affiliate program. Please continue to scrutinize and post anything else that doesn't seem fair or right to you here.
