    Default Twitter and page rank

Ok, so as I visit other Twitter pages, I watch the PR bar jumping up and down... Some folks with more followers have lower PR than me, (I am PR9) and some are the same. Anyone have the slightest clue what the algorithms may be on Twitter? And do you think that when we tweet to our sites it passes PR on?

This might prove interesting. Can't wait to see what you all think.

May have been a slightly drunken moment. I was on twitter and thought I was on my page.... actually, where you enter your tweets is actually the Twitter home page

False alarm. I only have 122 followers and am following 39 with 187 tweets.

So the higher the followers, the higher the pagerank in the future?

Twitter is an ever-streaming collection of inane 140 character tweets.

While I can understand that twitter has replaced facebook and myspace as the current fad for social networks - and perhaps it does deserve some PR ranking - surely is not actually important?

The idea that any personal twitter page could score above PR1 for a selection of temporary tweets running past is surely the death-knell for the Google PR algo?!
