Cool TikTok for affiliates: yes or no?

Just want to share with you some interesting quotes from an article "TikTok for affiliates: how to keep your content safe and effective":

Just because the promotion of gambling is prohibited in Tik Tok doesn’t mean talking about anything to do with gaming, esports teams and the games they play, professional poker players, strategy chat, fantasy sports, etc is outlawed. Similarly, ‘how-to manuals’ are also permitted.
Aim for knowledge rather than promotion and you can reach the audience you are interested in.

The ways you can go about this, include:
Live streams - Not only can your affiliates spend their time entertaining audience members, but there is also the option to record the stream and cut it up into highlights. These will do very well in a short-form video format like, say, the format of TikTok.
News and insights. For more snippet ideas, your igaming content can focus on news. There is no promotion there, merely the sharing of information.
Tailor your content to the location and lifestyle. Then again, you do not have to make content around a certain topic at all. Lifestyle influencers are more common than influencers with a niche, and the benefit of them is they attract all sorts of people and all types of brand deals.
Partner with influencers and brand ambassadors. Use other people’s influence! Since there are tight restrictions associated with advertising guidelines, ensure you follow other creator accounts which can add value to your brand.
Do you think these tips might be useful? And all in all, is Tik Tok an eligible traffic source, to you mind? Share your points of view guys!

Now Tik Tok is really becoming very popular in terms of traffic output. And definitely worth a try (for any business)

..and the average age of a Tik Tok user is?

    I'll say no more.

Although it's possible I just don't understand it, too old most likely.

Tik Tok is mostly children and unstable adults, wouldn't be long before they ban gaming especially with the negative press they seem to get

Well, gambling promotion is already banned there and the article covers the ways of how to avoid this and still get the audience involved.

I'm pretty sure this is the very first question that comes to mind, but according to my experience, Tik Tok has really expanded its demographic diversity. Well, not Tik Tok itself, but the audience of different age and occupation are now into snappy videos to absolutely wide range of topics and gambling is not an exception.

I agree tik tok average age is about 15-17 maybe. And if I had to take a guess they ll probably not "promote" content with hashtags #slots, #casino ( similar to instagram )

Yes, but also ask yourself are these " reels " or tik toks " actually get lots of views because Instagram is basicially not willing to let casino content get lots of clicks ( it´s just the algorithm)

PS: Please tell us the results when you try it, I mean we always have to try
