Arrow ✓ Plug pulled out!? ⌨

    Good evening,

since more than 5 hours it's nearly impossible to login to the dashboard because of an "unkown error" after entering username and password.
If successful, absolutely no data is visible, not even the account name or the name of the affiliate manager.

Please screw the plug back onto the housing.

I have not had any issues logging in there in recent days and just checked (few hours after your post) and all is fine. Data has been consistent and has appeared accurate in recent logins.

Not sure if it could be geographic for you, if it continues and you have the use of a vpn try it from a different geographic location.

I don't promote them but do have an account and logins in fine, I would suggest vpn, or perhaps a different browser? could be a problem with the headers not being read?

I got this email from them today... I wonder if this doesn't have something to do with the login problem...although I did get in today without any hassles

    Dear Heather,

    We are upgrading our systems!
Euro Partners is proud to announce that starting August 1st its affiliate interface will be completely renovated and improved due to system upgrades.

What does this mean for you?
    1. Same Login Details:
Your user name and password will stay the same.
    2. New Tracking Links:
During the upcoming week your affiliate manager will be sending you new, unique tracking links which you should implement on your site only on August 1st (the links will not work prior to this date).
    3. Reports availability:
Historical traffic data will be saved and presented on the new system and will be available for you through “History report”.

We trust that these changes will provide you with a smoother user experience and hope that you enjoy the benefits of the new interface.

    Best regards,
    The Euro Partners Team

I gave it up 8:00 in the evening Germany time. So obviously later, when I was in deep sleep and you have had relaxing tea time, everything returns.

Thank you both for the information. Now, when I write these lines, it's also again working fine for me. Indeed, the email explains a lot and I will check later, if my email box received a similar one. It's feeding time now, and it takes one hour until our little zoo is entirely full and satisfied.

I agree Rick. It drives me around the bend when I have so many sites to update, but its not just the tracking link change that bugs me but inevitably the casinos tend to "lose" some of our existing players along the way!

The last time they changed systems I "lost" players. I stopped promoting them for a few years because of this. Seems like they need to lighten the load again.

Same thing happened to me...but this time I will be keeping a close eye as I don't have too many players left to use so it will be very noticeable...

At what time do the links stop tracking?

If it is midnight, what time zone is the midnight deadline?

And if affiliates do not have the links in advance, why do the old links stop tracking before affiliates have the opportunity to change links?

Why were only certain affiliates notified of this and not everyone?

Why have you not made a statement here about these changes (where you could notify more than 20,000 people with a single post)?

Why was an email detailing the changes not sent to EVERYONE?

If historical data will be preserved, will the campaign/profile data also be preserved, or will you ONCE AGAIN throw out that very important dataset like you did the last time you changed the backend and forced links changes?

Repeated since it is an extremely important point:
And if affiliates do not have the links in advance, why do the old links stop tracking before affiliates have the opportunity to change links?
I personally have somewhere I need to be shortly, but I am oping that here in the US I will still be able to log in and download and preserve my stats including profile information before midnight Eastern Standard time.

I could likely come up with many more questions about these changes with more time, but the fact that you have NOT been very forthcoming about this publicly speaks volumes, and obviously some fears and confusion could have been avoided, had you just taken the time to make a statement here, and follow up with most questions publicly ONCE instead of the hundreds of emails in the coming weeks....(many of which will be answering the same thing over and over and over since it is NOT logical to make a statement and then follow up here).

To add insult to injury - I took a screenshot about 10 mins before cut off at 12 ( as I am in New Zealand its the middle of my day here so I was keeping an eye on it ) and my earnings showed $842.00.
I checked again just now and suddenly it shows Last month earnings ( July ) as $525.00
Yes, It does happen that someone can win at the last minute...but to win $900.00 in less than 10 mins when the players generally only play small amounts is very unlikely!!!

I have just started looking in to what stats are there and when I ran the first report it looked wrong for July.

I noticed that after forcing the start date and end date it seemed to provide more correct data.

It does look incorrect for 7-31 but I did not have enough going on to be quite sure.

I am now grabbing as much of the data and exporting to csv so I can view in XLS at a later time in case the data suddenly disappears or is not transferred over.

What I have found that seems to work the best is:

    A) set up the report with the filters you want and then run the report in the browser,
    B) after it renders, then click the csv button and it will export to csv and give you the option to open or save

I usually open in xls and then save from there as the data is them formatted as you see it in xls, however you should then change the drop down to the correct xls or xlsx format so it will save as a workbook.

I am going to take the time to grab a few years worth of data just in case as I have not done this for quite some time for this group. (it does seem to be taking a LONG time trying to pull previous years)

The absolute worst part is there has been zero disclosure and zero communication during this mess, (leaving us to only wonder and speculate) and as has many have said this also follows very little communication on pulling the plug on a whole country.

If anyone has trouble running reports for previous periods, try shortening the time frame, I had trouble running reports of more than 6 months, but some might need shorter time frames depending on how much data they contain.

    Hi All,

The transition to the new system is being done as we speak.

If you need historic reports please contact your personal Account Manager who will be happy to assist you.

So for those that didn't get their reports in the 4.5 days notice that the operators did NOT give you can get in line and probably get the data from a rep, of they answer the email.

I wonder (ok I am speculating here) that by not providing a decent notice that you might see hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of requests flood in so that reps might spend many hours and hours for weeks running reports since had plenty of notice been given and full proper disclosure been made hundreds of affiliates could have run the reports instead of tying up the reps for weeks to handle the requests.

Obviously you do not want us to think you just made this decision to change backend software just a few days ago did you?

You wouldn't want us to think this change was decided upon and made without careful planning that was done over the course of weeks and weeks if not months?

Maybe that's it, maybe you just decided 5 or 6 days ago and no one in the home office knew about this in advance or you surely would have told everyone that you consider valuable marketing partners.

To get your historic reports simply go to the "Statistics" tab and choose the desired period of time for which you wish to see the report.

Lol - the faceless "Euro Partners Team" reply. Maybe if you put a real name behind your replies it would improve dramatically.

Thanks for the heads-up that my aff manager left your company. I only found out today that he has moved on. So here I sit without one and no new tracking links either.

Is this how you guys operate? What a F-up!

I have still not seen a public statement made about when the new system will be available, nor whether it will be at the same login url we are currently using, nor whether campaign data will be preserved (although I did specifically ask)

I also have not seen a statement made about how long the old/current site will be available, but for those wanting their data, it was till available at the old url as of 4:00 am Eastern Time.

I ended up crashing the browser session a number of times, attempting to run larger reports so if this happens (it is faster to close browser or at least the tab and re-login and run the report again with shorter time frames than waiting for a refresh)
