Payment problems with Rome

Please allow us a bit more time before you start badmouthing us on all your sites, I understand why you are doing it but it is not contributing and will not get you your money faster as we're waiting for the processor money.

Thank you for the reply. Apologies for distracting from the importance of this thread but could you direct someone to this thread as well? Rome is on the verge of a negitive campaign there as well.

Hi All,

I'd like to update you that the news are good, the money is coming in from our new processor now and we'll be able to not only pay what is owed our delayed affiliates but also to keep to a regular payment program without these delays.

Payment will begin within the next two weeks and it may take a week or two to pay everyone. I'm sorry if you find yourselves on the far side of that time period but I promise we will get to everyone, no matter how small or big the payment. This is the schedule for now and I will of course update you if there are any changes to it.

We at Rome would like to once again apologize for this horrible delay and for our processor problems which affected you in turn, we understand those affiliates that lost patience with us and would also like to thank those affiliates that stayed despite it and helped us to achieve a great month in player deposits.

Personally....I'm tired of hearing 2 weeks.......

What makes this 2 weeks any different from the last several 2 weeks I have been told in the past.....I have not slammed Rome, only my comments in the forum, but I am really starting to get upset with this...your credibility is about Zero!

I will keep checking back to see if ANYONE gets paid within 2 weeks.

Nice to see you wrote in both threads

Please see my response in the other thread. Just to summarize for those who didn't see it - I know you want to hear that everyone is getting paid today, the reality of the matter is we are now collecting funds from our processor, the two weeks period I gave is a wide projection because I don't want to make promises we can't keep. You'll see quite a few affiliates paid in the upcoming days and weeks, until we have paid all that is due. I understand the accusations regarding our reliability, however I am not trying to cultivate a reputation for lying, quite the contrary, and when I have nothing to report I do just that. But I'm telling you now that money is coming in on time and our prime objective is paying affiliates, so even if you don't believe its coming, it'll come anyway.

Just to update this thread, I have been in contact with my aff mgr and kept up to date.
Still not paid, but there is fruitful communication between Jodi and myself.

I should add, that Jodi has been responsive to my emails, she was at Budapest when I got no response, but contacted me on her return.

Now lets see. Rome claims to be having a cash flow problem. They state clearly that thier payment processing people have failed to pay them. Based on this they have been unable to pay affiliates and are still trying to do so, apparently it is a high priority for them to get this completed and they are working hard to get it done.

NOW! - Rome Casino is located in Costa Rica - the cost to participate in the convention in Budapest plus the cost of at least 2 people to attend the convention, hotels, meals, additional travel costs, wine'em'dine costs....hmmm....I'd say that easily cost $20K plus.

They have funds to pay those expenses but still are stating they don't have it to pay affiliates!

My take - BULLSHIT!!! - pardon my language, try not to cuss in thread but that is a crock of crap and that money should have gone directly to affiliates first!!

PERIOD!!!!!!!!!

I could care less about the toungue and cheek crap they will post here as I don't believe a word of it. Knowing and seeing what I have in this thread I'd promote Igloo building in the desert before touching these yahoo's! I'd have a better chance of being paid!

Shame on Rome Casino for thier continued lack of respect and professionalism in getting affiliates paid! - just shamefull!

That trip was not paid for by Rome but by TG who wanted us to participate in the events. It was also important to us to show up there and explain ourselves, I think if we weren't there you would be even angrier and say we are hiding from the affiliates, so please do not assume that we have money to splash around on that basis alone.

I wouldn't hold your breath Magic. If Rome was serious they'd have paid you by now. This is nothing less than ridiculous and only goes to show the lack of integrity they have or they would have paid by now...one way or another.

My update is that I still have not seen any postings of people being paid, I have not been paid, and now the communication seems to have stopped....

I've been notified that we've started paying our affiliates due, so I wouldn't expect it to take long, we will get to all affiliates due.

So where does everyone stand here with the outstanding payments? We just received ours and my understanding is that all oustanding payments are either in process or just around the corner.

I am also aware of that issue of the player receiving the bad check over at meisters which should also be resolved soon. Other than this are there any other oustanding player payments that anyone is aware of?
