I was told by an affiliate manager that all suspended affiliates will be receiving an email early next week so expect a response over the next 5 days or so.

And that is your right to do so as the 'boss man' here. But don't be surprised when you antagonise more and more of your proper forum affiliates and are left with a forum full of useless posts and platitudes for post counts.

I think we already have two similar thread. Can we please merge all this thread into one. So all info will be in one place and It will be a great help if anyone facing this same issue in future.

And for the OP, I also face this issue. My account was locked for almost a month. What I did, remove all content related to bet365 and remove all there banner from my site and then ask them to review my site and within a week the respond and lift the suspension.

The response time may vary as they are dealing with an overwhelming number of website to review. Hope this help.

/slightly off-topic to answer the specific question
We honestly tried to keep all these posts in a single thread, but folks kept coming up with new subject lines with a slightly different slant or direction all covering the new guidelines and how it affected their Bet 365 accounts, and almost every day we merge some of the single posts into one of the more popular threads that is the closest match to the post's content.

We want to allow the forum members to post in the thread that fits their specific issue or train of thought when they post, and only move the posts when we feel it makes logical sense and try and keep the continuity in line for the highest number of members and readers.

To try and merge them all into one might not accomplish the goal and possibly confuse a few lines of thought.

    /end off topic

Thank you for your patience during this challenging period.

Yesterday, we contacted affiliates that replied within the deadline, with their next steps.

We needed a way to prioritise and this seemed to be the most obvious approach.

Next, we are contacting those that didn't reply within the deadline, or replied within the deadline but didn't include the information that we required.

Bear with us, we hope to be in touch very soon.

    Thanks

I sent an email a few days ago that I have removed all bet 365 content banners links images etc to get my account unlocked to raise the invoice on Dec 2nd but still no reply.

Just tried to make a phone call with colleague Stephen A. but got his voicemail.

Will try again and again until I get through though !

When you get a reply - you'll be even more worried ...
I got an email from my bet365 AM today that literally included a clause - "no facts" ...

    9. You have removed any content from your reviews which could be deemed as factual ...
This included contact addresses and phone numbers ... WTF?

I have replied to get confirmation that facts are now VERBOTTEN in this brave new bet365 world ...
How on earth is THIS better for consumers ?

I hope they do enforce all their disclaimers and set everyone to 0% commission (as stated in their emails) and/or disable all tracking links and I hope all webmasters get mad as hell and bad365 pay the price.

It's been confirmed that all facts about bet365 including address and contact details MUST be removed. (Point 9 of an 18 point directive)

The plan is to provide something centrally in the affiliate system, so they can change it if required and have it ripple through. In the view of bet365 this gives them further control over accuracy in exactly what is written about them.

Of course there in nothing like this in the affiliate system yet.

    --------------------------

    To give full context :

As mentioned this was part of an 18 point directive - much of it showing a massive bet365 retreat from social media, emails, SMS, texts, newsletters, pop-ups / pop-unders, pirate video sites (goal highlights), no use of the word "free", extensive use of 18+ age notices etc, etc.

Oh - and NO screen shots .. and of course no use of FACTS!!!

A lot of this makes sense, much of the affiliate world is low-rent awful promotion with questionable tactics, and while in the past bet365 were keen to embrace social media and get headline spots ... the recent spotlight by newspapers has brought unwanted attention as bet365 are a big brand and were frequently mentioned.

I understand where bet365 are coming from - especially as I thought their previous drive to be everywhere, all the time, was over the top.

    --------------------------

But this is a complete advertising retreat - and my new acquisition numbers at bet365 are close to zero.
Promotion of bet365 is this form is very difficult - but as affiliates we must follow the directives of our program.

    Good luck out there.

To be honest I feel that this is actually a form of communism for want of a better word LOL

What I mean is that I can completely understand bet365 not wanting to get a fine for something their affiliates have done, but to go to the point where they actually tell us exactly what to write is ridiculous!!

The reason why most of us have Affiliate portals is that we offer UNBIASED, HONEST and INDEPENDENT reviews about online casinos.
What sort of credibility will we have with our players if we are all just regurgitating the same content and the content that bet365 is making us write.

As far as I am concerned bet365 should send us all a sheet of FACTS and as long as we ensure we include those facts and no incorrect bonuses etc. then what is the problem? ( in fact if all casinos did away with bonuses completely, then they wouldn't have to worry as much as they do about the UK Gambling Commission's ridiculous regulations. )

Personally I think bet365 is being overly cautious to the point of ruining their reputation.
