Thumbs down mybet changed accounts to NCO

Hi guys, we are a long time partner with mybet but what they are now doing is a NoGo.

We had a NNCO deal and suddenly they changed this deal to NCO without information since last month.

Probably we can do nothing that deal is now NCO but what they have done is absolutely unfair and not comprehensibly.

I was surprised as i saw that they have transfered a negative amount into account from nearly €5000 we had generated in 2012. Yes you have read correct, a 5-6 years old negative amount is now the new starting position. Positive earnings from february were deducted.

Can be that one will find this okay but for my understanding it's not okay. Is this normal ? I mean what is the matter on all these sportbets companies. Only still problems!

I sent an e-mail some days ago but until now i'm waiting for an answer.

Maybe there are new guys working on mybet, one see it also on many other companies where new guys are working and try to change anything. On most companies there was no good decisions, see like Redbet, bet365 and others.

Through such decisions it changes a lot, what was good before turns now into bad impressions.

Absolutely no reply or statement from anyone. The result of the new "environment"?

To make it very short but very clear. Regardless, if they are Platinum Sponsor here or not. From any legal view, any common sense, any ethical standards, it's nothing else than theft.

And I feel very sorry for you, that a honest working affiliate like you again is outsmarted by a sitting GPWA sponsor.

For my understanding this is definitifely not OK.
It's already very very borderline of casinos changing forward going terms retroactively (like introducing minimum new player requirements, otherwise you get a lower revenue share than initially agreed on), but this is in my opinion clearly not OK.

Sorry, but the mybet ad right on this page is a joke? Promoting "no negative carryover" in the ad plus in the text, in this thread?
I guess some decision maker from GPWA with some integrity should take action here.

It is the same with Bet365, GPWA still advertising them even though they effectively closed 100's if not 1,000's of accounts. How can they advertise for new affiliates when they have already binned of hard working affiliates.

Mybet behaves strange - they didn't react to other threads here. Maybe they prepaid the platinum sponsorship and just let it run until the deal is finished here?
For me it seems like they had a management or ownership change when I see that they behave like that, but I don't know.

That could be construed as false advertising promoting no negative carryover. I should imagine it is just an old banner, if GPWA is hosting it themselves it just needs updating. But if it is coming from Mybet that is **** poor.

Going on the OP the fact they have added an old negative balance from 2012 WTF - never seen that in all my life.

I am thinking that this is just not worth it and jacking it in as it seems the norm for brands to do anything unethical to get more money. ALWAYS at the expense of affiliates who put in long hours each week to promote their crap.

mybet's overview page states they have a partial negative carryover.
The policy should be clarified. I emailed mybet for comment.

"Negative Carryover:Partial, no negative carryover in ordinary circumstances but the program reserves the right to carry over negative earnings at its discretion."

Which means, this is a self-given free-ticket in the terms to make some extra Bucks, when they believe, it's about time.

    To be specific:

    ---

    06. Commission

    [...]

    i) Any negative earnings that may be a result of a net win by the Customers referred from the Affiliate will not be carried forward to the following month. The commission will be reset to zero (0) at the 1st of every month. mybet may exceptionally introduce negative carryover to certain affiliates if necessary.

    Source: partners.mybet.com/page.aspx?l=1&p=7

    ---

"mybet may exceptionally introduce negative carryover to certain affiliates if necessary."

Valid for every webmaster, every account, every situation, as I said, a free-ticket.

And I want to hear the voice, official or not, which says, that it is legal to charge at once a 6 years old negative balance against current earnings.

The overview negative-carryover definition should be changed from

"Negative Carryover:Partial, no negative carryover in ordinary circumstances but the program reserves the right to carry over negative earnings at its discretion."

    to

"Negative Carryover:Partial, no negative carryover in ordinary circumstances but the program reserves the right to carry over also negative earnings from any time in the distant past at its discretion
    ."

    Hi guys,

first i thought there is no interest to give any meanings, maybe i thought wrong.

Don't really expect any help but it's nice that Anthony emailed them. My intention was to make attention of because there are no reaction from mybet. I know that my account manager has meanwhile left the company.

I thank you all for your comments.

Mybet is some steps before the insolvency. They have talk with an Investor from Malta and If they not get an Deal with this Investor done they will close the Doors very soon and the NCO is not longer an Problem. They do things like this because they reach the Bottom. Payments are again pending for this Month and for sure they do not pay. I write this last Year and now again, remove Mybet from your Sites, do not send them any more Players because you will loose your Money if the Investor say no...

This graphic tells you a lot about the mybet Holding SE (XTRA:XMY):

As Ocelot said, indications, that they could be "some steps before the insolvency".
