Be very, very careful when buying homepage links. In my experience 9 out of 10 webmasters that are selling homepage links for considerable amounts offer either very low quality sites (with manipulated metrics) or are in the process of selling their sites and want to make a quick extra buck (as you will lose the link once the site is sold).
I have stopped looking for homepage links for these reasons. Not saying every site owner will scam you, but most will.

Hi Wolfie, i agree with your vision, i have bought homepage links and been scammed only 1 time, until today I've been very lucky.
