    Default Ladbrokes Scum!

I received an email from a generic email address yesterday from Ladbrokes affiliates telling me that my account was being closed due to the fact that I wasn't compliant with new regulations. I replied that there must be a mistake as I was fully compliant. I received a reply telling me to contact my account manager, he then told me 'I was probably being closed down as I'd sent little or no traffic in 2018.'

So here we have it, a company hiding behind new regulations to close down small affiliates. We know it's been going on but Ladbrokes were stupid enough to confirm it in writing!

Over the last year or so I've been closed down by BetVictor, Betfred, PaddyPower, SkyBet and Unibet. I'm sure more will follow suite in time.

My honest advice to new affiliates facing the UK sports betting market is work only on CPA because none of these jokers have any intention of honoring lifetime revenue share agreements. They will shaft you at the first opportunity they get. Take the quick cash in the form of CPA and forget building revenue share customers as they will take it off you as soon as they have an excuse.

Lads has just went through a round of "we closed your account due to six month inactivity, as per the terms and conditions we emailed you about" from what I've heard. Thus, it is not surprising that they're pulling out other "reasons" for closing accounts as well.

On the top I am almost sure their tracking is off. I have more than 10x worse conversions than they used to be. Virtually nothing. But they keep paying me, so I deliver them freebies. Wonderful relationship.

Your post suggests that in the future my friend you need to...
    1. Don't promote operators/brands already that have a bad reputation for bumming companies/people (check forums like GPWA / Affiliate Guard Dog and Casinomeister) If you would have invested 10 minutes to research this brand, before you invested ?00s/?000s into promoting them - you wouldn't be in this position now.
    2. Don't promote operators on the stock exchanges with shareholders to please (notice pretty much every igaming company on stock exchanges has shafted/thieved from affiliates, citing small-print, in recent years)
    3. Ask some friends/colleagues to recommend a decent brand to work with next time. If you would've asked anyone related to GPWA "should i work with Ladbrokes mate?", or put the same question anywhere on the web where nice people frequent - the resounding answer would've have been "no mate avoid them like the plague they've shafted loads of us already" People from London might state "these guys are Jeremy Hunt's mate". On the same note if you ask someone that's been doing this for years to help you out and recommend a decent program to promote - you'll have lots of very genuine people on your side looking to help you out pretty much immediately.

There's lots of big affiliates here that could send you a sub-affiliate link to a decent program with a strong reputation built up over years.
If you did that 1. you would make similar big commission to they do from Day 1 and 2. you're not gonna get shafted over commission/quotas/inactivity etc. because you're under the wing of a big established affiliate.

    Hope that helps!

    @luckymedia

If you or someone already has UK traffic, then you have nobody to promote at least in sports. There is not even one program in UK who has no quotas/retroactive changed in Terms & does not steal. Most of the strongest brands are also the stock exchange operators. UK market is dead.

If you provide me one strong Uk brand for sports that does not steal I will use your ref link and you will not regret.

I've mentioned it in previous posts: Please ask for a flat fee, payable in advance. If we all do it, they can't steel our money. I won't recommend CPA deals because you'll never know if tracking works. You can make rev share additionaly to flat fee, but if you concentrate on rev share or CPA only it can happen that you never get a single Cent for your work.

Still: name some converting UK CPA sport brands. It is not about tracking, tracking ofc can be and will be ****** up on the top.

(Thinking in a way "If we all do it" is btw. always false. We all will never do it. And big UK brands can live without us.)

    Hi,
My Ladbrokes affiliate account has been closed. My affiliate manager said that Ladbrokes CMA audit team closed the account.
My advice to avoid Coral and Ladbrokes.

Ever since Ladbrokes outsourced their Affiliate Programme to Tel Aviv they went downhill and downhill quickly.

If you want to work with a reputable bookmaker, then look no further than bet365. As long as you communicate with them and ensure you follow to the letter their requirements regarding compliance, then you can do no wrong IMO.

    A professional outfit.

With regards to CPA, for years now I have a nice CPA deal with Ladbrokes.

I delivered tens of thousands of clicks, not a single signup, not even the one I did as a test so I know for a fact it actually happened. By the way, that account was limited after the first won bet.

Several months ago they deactivated my affiliate account. But that's fine since I removed them from my sites a long time ago.

I guess people need to feel it on their own skin before they believe a brand is rogue. A lot of you didn't care that the other affiliates' accounts are being closed, but now you suddenly care.

We had done business with them for several years, no real issues until last summer when they closed our account (citing the minimum FTD clause).
We had delivered many long-term valuable players for them, but no new blood and they tossed us out like a cheap suit Which is for the best as it turns out!

I wrote it many many times, don't send Ladbrokes traffic. If you want send them your worst free garbage traffic you have.

In addition to what was written above, if you have any deal with baseline with them, and the player has deposited below the baseline, and after 10 minutes that player has deposited again and crossed the baseline, guess what? This player will be not assigned to you and you won't see any dime from his activity.

Usually it's an hybrid or CPA deal.

The player has to deposit in cumulative above or equal to amount (Usually 15-25 euro/pound, it depends on the deal) in order to get your CPA part.

would be interesting if any ladbrokes rep . could answer why they are scre#""## ing affiliates and there earnings ,

i sent a mail to my affiliate manager and still no answer.

ladbrokes should be on the black list of companys that are not recommended .

Do you expect them to tell you something like "We rob you because we think the ROI of robbing you is higher than not robbing you?"?

What would they gain from such statement? Bit more credibility?

Ladbrokes, Coral, Winner, William Hill, 10bet. They're the ones I'd avoid like the plague.
