Default Kindred Affiliates Change T&Cs - New Minimum Depositors Rule

    Important changes to our T&Cs
    Dear Affiliate,

As per Provision 4 of the Introductory Provisions of our existing Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs?, this email serves as notice that Kindred Affiliates is changing part of the Agreement which governs our business relationship.

The main changes to the Agreement are highlighted below and a full copy of our updated T&Cs can be found here.

    Main Changes:

?1.4. With respect to the European Union Fourth Anti-Money Laundering Directive, laws on the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism and in line with Kindred Group’s policy of Supplier Due Diligence, the Affiliate will be required to verify their identity by providing copies of personal and, where applicable, company identification and registration documents.

?3.2. At all times the Affiliate agrees to be bound by the Kindred Affiliates Advertising Guidelines, a copy of which is available here.

?6.6. The Company reserves the right to reduce the Commission/change the Reward Plan if:
    3. the Affiliate does not generate a minimum of 6 New Depositing Customers in a period of 3 months, except in markets where affiliate activity is restricted (e.g. Netherlands)

?13.2. The Company may terminate this Agreement immediately by written notice if:
    5. If the Affiliate does not generate any New Depositing Customers for a period of 6 months, except in markets where affiliate activity is restricted (e.g. Netherlands)

    Other changes:

    • Term 3.10, point 8: provided additional examples of how affiliates might seek to ‘alter monies payable to the Affiliate?/li>
    • Term 3.10, point 13: added ‘regulatory requirements?/li>
    • Term 6: Clarification on when and how to invoice Unibet Services Limited.

You will be asked to accept these changes when you next log in to your Kindred Affiliates account, however, please note that your continued participation in the Kindred Affiliates Program after these changes have been posted constitutes your binding acceptance of such changes.

    What we are doing:
    1) Updating our T&Cs in light of the increasingly complex and challenging regulatory and compliance environment, which many of you will be familiar with.

    2) Seeking to form closer relationships with affiliates that are compliant, verified and share our values and long-term business aims.

    What we are not doing:
    1) Closing any part of our affiliate program or reducing our commitment to work with affiliates to achieve sustainable growth and shared success.

    2) Automatically applying any changes to how you are currently rewarded. Communications relating to Terms 6.6 point 3. and 13.2 point 5. will form the starting point of a dialogue, not the end point.

If you have any questions or concerns as a result of these changes, please contact your Affiliate Manager, or myself directly: [email protected]

    Kind regards,
    Ryan Henderson
    Head of Affiliates

"except in markets where affiliate activity is restricted (e.g. Netherlands)"

They should provide the list with all markets with such status.

Yeh I got this email, sucks big time.

First they took over Stan James (fair enough) and they were a good one to promote, now they've closed Stan James and made all the customers I had go over to Unibet. Now they're bringing in a quota.

Can't help but think this is a slippy downhill slope. Quotas just suck big time.

    Hate the "inactivity" rules...
Rev-share of old players is still rev-share even if it's less % and even if the affiliate is not active enough...
Also hate when programs are changing the T&C retroactively.... this means that the deal you'll close now is going to be changed again most probably...

    promote them further and prey
if you have an alternative you can try to give them just the minimum quota
but even that is a double edged sword, because then you will bring them much less than they have to pay you

TTR Partners who were responsible for 32Red have just migrated over to them. Kindred seem to be taking over a lot of accounts, I can see another Sky Bet fiasco happening...

It seems that they'll do it a bit different.

I don't think they will close their program, but the quota will be a Sword of Damocles. In regulated markets Unibet is quite fast a saturated brand, as they do a lot of SEO, sport sponsoring and television campaigns.

Hopefully will not do the same with 32Red

Here was my response to my email reducing my % down to 10%

"Just when I thought I could promote these sites better, you 'pull this crap' "

    What a LOAD of BS.

Might as well remove them from any 'prominent' spots and relegate them to a much lower tier.

Just downgraded to 10% for unibet, no loss to me as stopped promoting them years ago.

However, when they reduce my 32red account that will be money lost for me.

It's a shame that thieving is allowed to happen like this. Sign up to a deal then they change the terms to steal commission.

I will no longer promote 32red and live with the loss.

I am going to drop 32Red down to lower positions on my websites as a result of them switching to Kindred Affiliates. If I enjoyed working with TTR Partners too

They will pay as long as your account is open. If your account is closed, I think they will not pay anymore and just take your player base.

I didn't accept the new terms and told them I am not ok with this new terms. So far I could use my account, but now it seems they force me to accept the new terms.

    This behaviour is simply rogue.
