Thumbs up How good is BetOnline at converting your site visitors?

Half of my traffic at the moment on my tip site comes from the US, and of course I need to promote a US Bookie and BetOnline seems to be reliable and have good reviews. My question is however, is BetOnline saturated like Bet365 is in places? I've heard Bet365 is a hard bookie to convert because it's the most popular and everyone uses it. I'm not familar with US Bookies but BetOnline seems like the biggest, is this a good thing or a bad thing for converting?

That's simply not true. Bookmaker are one of the best US facing sportsbooks and have been for years now. They pay like clockwork and have never had issues with paying players. In fact they've bailed out numerous strugglers in the industry including BetDSI and Justbet.

They have a minimum player rule which some affiliates don't like, but they are in no way rogue and have never done anything to avoid paying affiliates. Within hours of requesting payouts I receive them.

This is all 100% true for bookmaker.eu players, however their affiliate tos are predatory. The Affiliate losses players after six month of no activity. Betonline is better for affiliates and may be just as good for players, this I do not know.

I wish that bookmaker was more affilate friendly because they are great for players, however I need a company that is great for players and affilaites or will loose money.

BetOnline are solid, pay on time and have been around a long time. More people should look at promoting them casino ahead of the brands not paying players.

I wanted to promote bookmaker.eu on my Singapore site and got declined, when asked why they came out with some bollocks but then told me you needed to send 10 active players the week before payments? couldn't work out whether that was a one off or each month but sounds a bit **** anyway.

not being funny to the OP as he has stated he doesn't get many players so for him I'd avoid bookmaker.eu, glad they said no to me tbh

Without a doubt there are companies with better affiliate terms than Bookmaker. If you're a small affiliate with very little traffic they may not be a good option for you to promote. But 10 active players is tiny for the US market, especially with a book like Bmaker who has insane retention. I have guys from years ago who bet every single season with them. The recreational books are fine, but don't have anywhere near the lifetime player value that 5dimes and bookmaker have.

Admittedly all the good stuff for the players (lower vig, higher limits, little if any account closures etc) is somewhat offset by the poorer affy factors such as the min actives rules, lower conversions and very rare increase from the base commission levels, but Bmaker player value on 25% is still better than most recreational books on 30%+.

If you want just recreational books that are legit, bovada, topbet, betonline, gtbets all seem solid. If you want the best books for the player then 5dimes and bookmaker are tops.

    I have to agree thebookieoffers,

If they got a quota, they could NEVER be considered the "best".

I have seen two people recommend Intertops, but I thought they stopped taking us players years ago.....(summer 2012)

Need 10 actives overall, so old players who are betting count towards the total.

Just speaking purely from an affiliate POV, Bovada (bettingpartners) and Topbet (tbaffiliate) are undoubtedly the best - incredible conversions, pay like clockwork, very good affiliate managers and good backends.

    Hello,

Thank you for the great things you have written about BetOnline. I`d like to add few points to this conversation:

    1. BetOnline's conversions currently sit at about 40-55%, depending on the affiliate of course. But our conversions remain VERY strong.

    2. Our company policy is to make sure both Players and Affiliates are always looked after. We have worked hard the last few years and are always improving.

    3. Our Affiliate Team is growing and are available to help you at all times. If you don't have an Account Manager, please let me know and you will have a point of contact to help you throughout.

    Regards,
    Justin

I've been finding recently that i'm getting more and more visitors from the US compared to other countries, and in fact yesterday 45% of my visits were from the US. I feel like promoting European and English books just isn't working, and doesn't make sense. I signed up for a TopBet Affiliate account as they allow US players correct? I believe they also accept British players? if so then this is the more better option.

TopBet are Curacao licensed ... that's not a UK whitelist country.
And if they are openly accepting US players then they are unlikely to be accepted for a UK remote gambling license if they applied.

They seem a mediocre bookmaker at best.

think you have to seperate UK and US myself tbh. TG is correct, if they take US with their licecne then probably no go for UK later, BUT and it's a big but for me, UK and and US sportsbooks are very different anyway, i'd doubt a standard uk punter would understand a us facing book and the same the other way round.

without looking at your layout and site why not try a steady UK book for uk and have one for US punters, even maybe look at geo targetting?

Totally agree. Put yourself in the shoes of an average UK punter. Go to the Topbet home page. Would you sign up? I wouldn't...unless I was a heavy punter and already had accounts at all the major UK known bookies, or was bonus hunting and not worried about playing in dollars.

Think you need to find a way of catering to different regions with different offers/options.

I asked them few times to approve and I was told they do not accept new affiliates. I do not have problems with Bookmaker/Betcris bookies, they are top shop, but I will not beg 10x to be approved.

Commission.bz closed my account few days after was opened, because we were told it causes them server problems and we had no time to react. Their bad...
