Cool Gamblineers.com - what do you think?

    Hi guys,

I just started my own site gamblineers.com and would someday like to apply for the GPWA Seal of Approval.

Basically I want my site to include all important crypto (mostly bitcoin) gambling listings and info and I really want it to be straight-forward, comprehensive and easy to navigate.

Check it out and tell me what you think, I would love to hear your pros and cons

    Adam

Looks good, clean and clear style. Loads pretty slow for me which might hamper your efforts a little - take a look at this report for some basic things that you could do to speed it up a bit: https://developers.google.com/speed/...com&tab=mobile

    ehi Adam!
Very nice looking website I think you did a very nice job! also well organized.

I think you should add more content on the reviews and give a reason why to choose the casinos you are promoting. For the rest keep grinding!

    Thanks everyone, nice to hear!

I've been working on technical SEO the past few weeks to speed up the site but I agree I still have some things to do.

Your site has a nice mixture of colors and your roulette wheel banner at the top of your page looks superb and instantly stands out from the rest! Everything is well organized and your floating menu on the middle right hand side of your homepage looks professional and is very handy for those who are visiting your website. Also, brilliant site loading speed. Good work and welcome to the GPWA too!!

I agree with the other comments, the site is clean and clear, I like the colour theme, and it's pretty fast to load in my case. One suggestion though, I'd add a CTA button to the home page on your mobile version in order to redirect the visitors to the casinos leaderboard or the reviews

Quick Edit : I just noticed that I actually landed on the "How to play, win, beat and stay safe in casinos" page instead of the home as I was assuming. That being said the suggestion still applies

Looks very clean. I loved the purplish pinkish colors! Wondering about the conversion rate of the tables that you chose..

Very nice site and staying away from all the usual templates you see out there.

    I like it a lot.

    Hello Adam,

The site looks good on desktop, but unfortunately on mobile it's not good. Keep in mind, that more than 60% of your traffic will be mobile, so you don't have to work on desktop as much as mobile.

I've noticed a whole lot of problems on mobile, but some main ones that stand out:

    - Your headings are spilling over to 3 lines and taking up half the mobile screen, ex:

    Best
    Crypto
    Casinos

    - Check both horizontal and vertical view, but each of your toplist casinos take up at least a full screen in mobile

    Hope this feedback helps.

Other than that, great looking website!

where are the actual reviews? All i see is tables of data on your so called "review" pages.

at the bottom of the main page I write that the site is more about facts and not a subjective review because of this probably will not be reviews. In addition, the site is nice and clean, it may be liked.

I'm confused, but I guess this is your site DannyX,

if garnering traffic via organic search is your plan, it will likely be very difficult to get much traction and rankings for these pages, given all the "meat" you omit by choosing to render only 'data'.

one good review page can rank for 200+ phrases fwiw.. ones like the ones you have doesn't have any potential to do this. Seems very wasteful, but of course other affiliates will like their lips and take the food you leave on the table for them.

    food for thought...

Thanks MrsMania. What do you mean by conversion rate of the tables? Do you find them confusing in someway or missing something important?

That "I write" was probably a misstype, gamblineers is my site
First of all, thank you for addressing this issue, it is something I've been giving a lot of thought but couldn't decide what would be better.

    1. you can access individual reviews from any page by clicking the logo of the casino you wish to view. I was wondering whether that is intuitive enough or should there be a normal, text link to the review.

    2. What I really don't want is miles long review pages just so I have more words to rank for. So I decided for more fact-oriented reviews. But on the other hand I do reailze that having a review which you can read in 10 seconds (even if it's a really good one) doesn't help much if it doesn't rank. So how to balance the two?

Yes it was a mistake I understand you very much, on the one hand I don't want to write large reviews that nobody reads. Nowadays people need quick information, and reviews are usually subjective opinions and a review page will never be authoritative. There are pages with dry facts without reviews, e.g. top100bookmakers dot com and they are doing fine. As a player, I don't really trust the review, I prefer dry facts. However, the problem is SEO and visibility, it seems that search engines like very long texts and do not go with the times for users who do not need these texts.

I looked towards this WP template. But I have friends who used it for their sites. Their feedback on this template is not very comforting. Sites show poor performance. But it’s clear that you have done a great job. I wish you success and destruction of the myths about Mercury!

I like the simplicity of the layout and how the homepage gets right to the point. But I’d like to see the review content fleshed out a bit more than the lists of features and pros and cons. It’d be nice to see some qualitative information about the experience.

    Nicely spotted
Actually it isn't the Mercury theme although I was considering it. At the end I used another theme and just used some of "Mercury styling" in the review pages.
