    Exclamation Gala Affiliates Closing Accounts

So I thought that this news went under the radar a bit - I thought I would, therefore, highlight it. It appears Gala Bingo and associated brands - Coral etc are on the warpath and are now un partnering partners. They sent out the usual charming email. This from a brand where you get a warning when navigating to the Affiliate site.

    Subject Line is: Compliance Announcement

    Dear Partner,

*** Please do not reply to this email! ***

Your account has not registered a depositing player in the past 12 months and has therefore been classified as inactive. The account will be closed permanently within 72 hours.

Once the account is closed, no further payment will be made and you will be unable to access the account.

Your July commissions will be paid in full. Please note that as of August 2017, commissions will no longer be paid.

Should you wish to continue with us, please contact your account manager within 72 hours.

    Thank you,
    Gala Partners

Be warned if you are thinking of signing up to Gala. This is what they do.

    How convenient...

But with Gala it is nothing new under the sun

Wow, 72hrs notice! Coral always under-performs for me compared to other brands, but I suppose no new players in 12 months is a lot better than others; SkyVegas for example.

So, question to anyone who has received this email... Earlier in the month, the affiliate manager asked us for a company certificate and if we had a signed agreement with any of their companies. For those who were closed, was either of the above requested of you and if so, did you provide any of them?

Really no surprise that they are doing this. It is well known and reported by many that they don’t have the friendliest terms and commissions can be reduced if new players are not sent. This further supports the recent posting “There Used To Be Time” by Top Online Casino.

If you received such an e-mail probably best not to spend too much energy getting upset and focus the energy on programs that are willing to work and develop a relationship. It may also be good to ensure your reviews of Gala Partners and casinos are up to date based on recent developments.

Right ! I got this email and I responded... but again this email he got is actually referring low activity account which is a none-friendly term in general.. no reason to close an account ...

Agreed totally. I am trying to figure out if there is any method to their targeted closures.

Hear! Hear! Pokerface. Building a relationship is far more important than closing an affiliates account due to inactivity. Think of the long term prospective and how you can work with an affiliate, not work against them. It's rather short-sighted!

I have just sent a complaint to Gala as they have said that I wont be receiving any future payments due to me not signing an agreement. I sent Elly and Hadar all the requested ID information followed by many emails chasing this over the past two weeks and no responses so this has not been my fault. Not very happy with them this evening.

Their emails don't work. I sent information time and again and it turned out that the email their end was stripping the attachments. It is chaos there. Hadar is basically out of control. I have managed to stop him pretending to be my affiliate manager and demanded that he not email me again. I think a lot of the problems are being caused by AMs with no training and good old fashioned incompetence.

PS: I see they STILL haven't updated the SSL certificate on galapartners!

I received agreements for Ladbrokes and Coral but not Gala. Until matter is resolved all links from all coral sites removed. No point having an active account that won't be paying and managers that don't respond.

They have done something to make site work better, but login page shows "not secure" and red alert in browser address bar:

I'm currently on vacation and don't have access to historical emails.

Has anyone got an email address for Hadar?

Like in other cases they have closed one of my accounts but not the other.

Eta. I was asked for paperwork for my dormant Ladbrokes account, which I sent, but was not asked for paperwork for my active Master Affiliate Coral account, which I believe is the one they want to close. Of course, they won't see players through that account, as my subaffiliates deliver the players.

So. Dormant account = paperwork OK. Active Master Affiliate account = potential closure. Odd why the one making money is potentially being closed (I don't think they actually close them, I think they just switch the cpa or revshare to zero).

Trying to get hold of Coral seems hard, most of managers are on holidays (or away).
72hrs is a joke, and yes ssl on gala is still not fixed.

Have tried contacting every manager I have emails or skype for, and still no joy!
I must have only a few hours left!

LOL they just confirmed that we're good after the documents 2 weeks ago and now they send this statement... not mentioning this stetement completely not true... but this is another issue..
Wow... what a VIP affiliate treatment, "why focus on your affiliate work if you can deal with useless bureaucracy all day? "
    .. It's a shame

Default hehehe got the same email today

I have received the same email now from Ladbrokes Partners (Now they are the same company).

Anyway, I haven't planned to send them even 1 click, they are very known not only by their "friendly" T&C, also by their magnificent way to hide players from your stats.

    Bye bye (:

She is on annual leave. I sent an email to her team leader [email protected]

But not banking on a reply, nobody has replied to my countless emails regarding the agreement not being received and now they say I won't be paid any future Gala commission for not signing it...
