    Default Flash banners frame problem

I'm trying to use a 728x90 flash banner for LVU Casino. My banners are placed in an iframe and when a user clicks the banner, it's opening the new window in the same frame, hiding most of the content. Is it possible to amend the flash code to generate the link in a new frame?

Hey mate - Any way to not have your banners placed in an iframe? Otherwise I think that's simply the nature of the beast referring to Iframes behavior, not sure we can override that.

That seems kinda strange because I think most flash banners I have ever used or even tested always opened the link in a new window so I would think you can over-ride it....(but I do admit I rarely use them)

Hmmmmm you piqued my interest at least.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

Dammit Rob....I have now been sitting here the last hour or so trying a number of workarounds.....lol

    How are you with css?

I think you could assign the link to a div, and have the flash image in that div....

Then it shouldn't matter if the "page" is pulled into a iframe or not as the entire div would be assigned the link....

Jason, to clarify my earlier post....the reading and research I have done today backs up my original thought that most flash creatives I have used open in new windows since the default GetURL function opens in a new window....

There is probably a much simpler method to do this in javascript...and would likely only change in a few spots....and I would think could be figured out to not change any of the other variables such as affid etc....
