I request indexing for almost all pages, but for the purpose of checking if everything is ok with the page.

Not necessary, but if you find other websites scraping your content then its a good idea. Also, a simple post about a brand making some changes is more of use for the users on the site and not really done for ranking while a a page that is ment to rank is more important, so would request indexing for these!

Unless your site has 1 million pages or internal linking issues, there is no need to request indexing.

Yes, always. It might be for nothing, but I request indexing for all new pages via GSC, and we're currently working on implementing it via API. It's not as much for indexing as it is to prevent our content from being stolen.

I always ask for indexing of new pages, and not only new pages, if I have made any changes, I also ask for indexing of

Not needed. But can't do any harm either, I guess. Personally I would rather make sure that Google is crawling your site as often as possible and that you sitemap is updated every time new content is added.

Do you know - you can use indexing API and get 200 pages indexed per pay?

I usually request indexing for new pages, especially if they're time-sensitive or important updates. It helps get them crawled and indexed faster. However, for regular blog posts or less critical updates, I sometimes just let the natural crawl process take its course.
Using Google Search Console's URL Inspection tool to request indexing can speed up the process, but it's not always necessary for every single page. It really depends on the urgency and importance of the content.

I always wonder the same thing! Personally, I do request indexing every time I create a new page. It seems to help with faster visibility in search results.

For the most part I use anything at my capacity to try to speed it up, I have connected both IndexNow and have a plugin in wordpress to ping google through the API, but we also have some time-sensitive news and sports games that needs to be indexed, sometimes if i just let google run its course it might not even be indexed in time and with that the whole effort to create the content has been for nothing.
With that said, yeah it depends if it needs to be up fast, for some new sites where I am just slowly building out the site I will just let google do its thing until i feel alright and then push the sitemaps into GSC.

In my experience manual indexing requests do absolutely nothing. If your internal linking structure is done well and the page isn't spam or low quality it will get indexed sooner or later.

I use GSC and Google Index API to speed up page indexing.

From our experience, there's no need to manually index each new page, as Google will index your content on its own if it is of good quality

I just let Google find the new page via the sitemap or crawling. I only manually submit for a high priority page.

Honestly, I prefer to do this manually to speed up the indexing process. I know that the Search Console can take just a few hours to index the file, but you never know when that highly interested lead will come along to convert for a particular keyword.

Yes, however, I am not 100% sure if that works sometimes.

Not necessary, but it wouldn't hurt either. Personally, I would check that your sitemap is updated whenever new content is added. And make sure google search console knows about your sitemap.
