Default Can we stop with the cold emailing offering SEO and web development services?

I get at least 5 emails per week, usually more, of small businesses offering to help me with my "web design" and SEO for "free leads" or whatever. Business owner to business owner, just STOP. You know nothing about me or my business. I actually have pretty damn good Google analytics and if I am ever looking for help, I wouldn't be responding to some random cold email that I know nothing about. I'd ask my network who they know and trust and go from there.
Build relationships and get clients that way. All the cold emailing does is **** off your potential client base before we know anything about you.

    Simple answer, No

You only get 5 a week? It will increase.

And almost all of them will not list their website or fake company name. And if they were as good as they tell you they are, all you need to do is go to google and search for seo, they should be first natural result right? They just told you they were the best.

    Best action, ignore them.

Don't list your email address on the web, use contact forms rather. If you do list your email on the web, then use a disposable address that forwards to your main email, then when the spam gets too much, list another and delete the other.

People aren't contacting you specifically. They're just blasting the same message to email lists or using contact form spam, it's not like they've looked at your site and then decided to send you an email. So you are correct, they know absolutely nothing about you (nor do they care unless you convert into a sale).

Spam is a numbers game. They send this same message to millions of people.

There's no point blocking the emails as they'll just change them. Best thing is to pick common phrases and add them to your spam filter, just be careful not to use anything that could be used by someone legitimately.

I'll add the same guys from Hyderabad, India, who blast out variations on the same list of sponsored post sites. 98% of them are junk. The sites they offer are so abused at this point that Google completely ignores them.

Equally annoying are those who want a post on my site. Just for fun, I make them an offer and they reliably respond with "$20", and then whinge for 2 or 3 replies about pricing relative to DR and other kooky metrics they confabulated so they can "win" the negotiation.

    Enough already.

Only five or so per week, you are lucky.

I couldn't even tell you how many I get, they just get instantly spammed or deleted and I don't think about it. No point in getting stressed about it, it won't stop.

I used to get them too, but not anymore. Before, they'd all come with words in a funny order. Then, ChatGPT was born, and they started to write that fluff. But recently, one joker with Sylvester Stallone glasses, but Indian-esque, asked if I wanted to buy a link from one of his LinkedIn pages for $1,000. Lol.

Those links are fine, but the max you should pay for them is $20. That's in case anyone's wondering. Some places sell them for exactly that.

Many thank for your tips. Spam mails make me crazy and I can't stop them. I'll try add phrases to my spam filter. Many thanks again.
