I signed up yesterday and deposited, I tried again just to make sure it was a new session and got a call this morning begging me to make a deposit, the woman on the phone insisted US players can still up and deposit.

Also heard from my AM yesterday, the entire marketing department besides Erin and one other girl were fired. Remember this **** come september when they ask us for business again. This group is now in my prepay only category.

I highly doubt Erin and whoever else is left in the affiliate dept is getting the true story from the BetUS shot callers. I mean, we've worked with Erin for years dating back to BoDog and she is as cool as they come and has always treated us well and has been straight up. Therefore, I am very perplexed as to why this is going on. By still taking USA players the whole theory of BetUS wanting to get off the US gov't's radar is thrown out the window. Obviously by still taking USA players that is not the motive. Is the motive to do away with the affiliate program so they can increase profits to offset the reduced number of traffic sent their way? The fact that they laid off employees isn't that unusual either because it's the SLOW season and a lot of books reduce their workforce in the summer months and rehire or hire new people for football season. Seems to me that the affiliates are getting shanked hardcore here and BetUS has no intention of stopping to take USA players other than to simply not give affiliates a piece of the action. We'll see but when there is smoke there is usually fire.

I have some significant news from a very good source within BetUS as a result of a telephone conversation I have had. BetUS is going to pull out of the USA market properly. It may even be as early as tomorrow. They are just orchestrating it all. I am assured from a source I trust completely that affiliates are not being scammed, they are just having problems doing everything in one go. They have not even informed all their staff members of the move out of the US market and they are downsizing hence the delay in turning off new USA clients. This is also the reason they have not yet made a statement. They realise affiliates are not being tracked for 10 days or so (ie: USA referrals are not) but they will genuinely be closing to new USA clients tomorrow or within a few days. Affiliate payments for March are approved and will be paid shortly.

Thanks for the info! Glad to hear that is the case. Hopefully the actions follow up the words within the next few days. Do you have any info or opinion on whether or not this is a permanent thing or simply a temporary thing and that the door may still be open for a return to the USA market for football season?

I did not ask that question, but when I was first told of their plans they did say they hoped for a return for the football season, but that is old rather than new news.

They've been saying this for over a week now. It's not rght that they are still accepting US players and not crediting them to affiliates. What other reason could there be for them turning off the stats first.

In fairness, they have not been saying much and their affiliate dept has been decimated in the last week. I was heartened by the fact that affiliates are not being scammed as it was beginning to look that way with such deafening silence from them. At least there are now reasons given for the delay.

On an unrelated note, SportsInteraction does NOT allow USA players to sign up.

BetUS not accepting US players, that's kind of funny. I am wondering, how they are planning to attract players from different countries with brand like this.

That is definitely low. They can accept the players you refer to them and let them sign-up, but you won't get credit for them. With business practices like that, I wonder how they expect affiliates will feel about them if they do return?

You guys make a good point. All they have to do is simply take 5 minutes and update their sign up form to disallow USA players to fill out the form and tell their customer service reps to disallow USA signups over the phone. Now that i think about it, the company line coming out BetUS today is simply the same mumbo jumbo they've been selling us for over a week and a half now. Seems to me if they do pull out of the USA it will be after The Preakness, Belmont, Stanley Cup Finals or NBA Finals so they can simply take advantage of the last two to three BIG signup events before the dead summer stretch comes. Seems convenient of them to allow USA players to still sign up thru the Kentucky Derby and Preakness but not give USA affiliates any credit for the referrals. The more and more I think about it the more pissed off I get. It's not right and they know it. Like Predictem stated, SportsInteraction and also Sportsbook.com and their sister of books have all done the move the right way. BetUS has dropped the ball big time so far. The thing that irriates me is they say we can still drive traffic to them to get international signups, but what benefit does it serve us USA affiliates to send them traffic when we will get NO credit for the USA guys that signup? At least when we drive USA traffic to Bet365 they get declined so they might come back to our site looking for another book to sign up with.

If you referred these players, then you will be getting commission for their activity. I agree the fact they are not tracking but are accepting new usa clients is farcical, but they are still paying for existing referrals' activity . . . so they say . . . but still waiting for March monies.

Default Recent changes at BetUS Partners

I got this yesterday but didn't really say much on the US players issue:

    Dear Zoorana,

Due to recent changes to our acquisition strategies, BetUS Partners has recently restructured. As a result we reluctantly downsized the A-Team; an amazing group of hard working account managers and our dear friends.

We appreciate that you may have questions regarding recent changes, and we’d like to assure you that we’re still available to assist you. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

We’ll do our best to continue providing the quality service you deserve, and appreciate in advance your cooperation and understanding during this transitional period.
    Kind Regards
    Erin & Kat

Who wants to bet BetUS is still taking new USA signups thru at least the NBA Finals? Anyone? LOL, it's pathethic I'm sorry. Anyone who thinks it's so hard to simply disable taking new USA signups on a signup form and by telling phone operators to not take new USA signups is kidding themselves. It's not hard at all and Sportsbook.com and SportsInterAction did it in no time. Welcome to the world of online sportsbook/casino affiliate advertising where affiliates always get ****** and operators can care less. Isn't great waking up to promote this crap? Sick of it. That's why we don't attend conferences and other crap. I wouldn't **** on 95% of these guys if they were on fire. Bunch of double talking chumps with no soul or honor.

Seems like they are so busy over there at BetUS that they haven't even had 2 seconds to update #5 on the FAQ page on their affiliate site where they recruit new affiliates yet they have 2 seconds to turn off the USA player tracking for existing affiliates.

    5. Do you accept players from every country?

We currently accept players from all countries; with the exception of Canada, Costa Rica, Panama, Netherlands, France and Netherlands Antilles.

I don’t get why BetUS does not come in one of the gaming forums and answer the accusation concerning US sign ups, it doesn’t make sense.

Has anyone actually heard from either Erin or Kat since these claims about US sign ups started to fly? As much as I like them, they do need to give us an explanation. This has to be corrected or what is to stop other affiliate programs doing the same thing; it’s just wrong.

I received the same email as Zoorana and replied to Erin that it would be a good idea to come here and post about what is going on because we are being left to come up with out own conclusions and that is not necessarily what they want. That was a couple of days ago.
