Default Bet365 is still couting clicks from nowhere

    Hi,

Can anyone from the Bet365 team to confirm that the cache clicks will not be counted?
Because you said that you will pay us for our referred customers only if clicks do not appear within any of your future reports.
But in your reports, you will see dozens of daily clicks even if the affiliate is not promoting you anymore from years.

Please clarify the situation because we are all worried about those clicks.

And also, let us know the mail address where we have to reply.
We got the email from [email protected] , but this sounds like a no-reply email address.
Please clarify with us, don't be like you don't care about us, we worked hard many years for you, at least give us some final answers.

    Thank you!

They are making something to kill all links from old (suspended) accounts. So dont worry about it!

We have completely removed all our bet365 links (including www), logos, review material etc, to be 100% sure that we follow their new guidelines so we can get paid for old customers. So, for our bet365 review (not rated anymore), we only give some short facts and contact info until further notice. That's all. No links and no logos. I think they want it that way. A very sad day for affiliates...

Bet365 want all promotions to be removed from our pages , so a websites like web.archive.org which have links to all sites in all years , with all links saved there , how we can remove them? Of course we will remove all links in our pages , but this situation is strange. No one will want to lose his old players. I have 100+ regs and 40+ depositors making hundreds of dollars every month , of course I will remove the bet365 ads to continue receiving money , but how can we defense in case that we have removed everything , but there are still clicks?

Yes but I think there are a lot of sites who make archive not only web.archive.org

Also If we have added a affiliate URL in a post in the internet in 2015-2016 year and we have forgotten about it , how to search the all internet in case we have missed to remove a link from years ago?

There are really a lot of robots.

Starting with googlebot, where you do not even have 1 backlink, just to click on the link in question in Chrome and Google starts to crawl that page.

So once people clicked on your affiliate link, Google is probably crawling it forever. And the clicks are counted. The bot is even clicking further deeper at bet365 site.

If you have been terminated from bet365 affiliates then from next week all the old links will be dead, they are implementing it from THERE side.

Why are people still getting there knickers in a twist about this?

Some cookie is at clients browser that you can not control.
They can just delete all affiliate link from your account and change the old cookie policy.

Have they stated this publically and/or told you directly? Just wondering because I have not seen this anywhere. Please let me know. Thanks.

This is the answer received today:

"In the interests of transparency, based on the confirmation we have received from you there will be some changes to the account infrastructure next week.
Firstly, and most importantly, we will be giving you access to your account in order for you to be able to withdraw your commissions. (my acc is not suspended anyway)

Access will remain open permanently in order for you to continue to withdraw each month.

The creative section will no longer be visible, and all creative served by bet365 will therefore result in a blank space for any remaining live ad units, including promotional text content.

Some affiliates have raised concerns about clicks from old links and creative, and as such we have disabled the tracking which means that clicks will not show at all (and therefore won’t impact ongoing payments).

As a result, moving forward there will not be any tracking functionality, which shouldn’t cause any issues given all promotion has been removed for now.

The above changes are being finalised as we speak, and once complete (aiming for next week as mentioned) we will confirm so that you are able to commence monthly withdrawals."

All banners has been removed before 2 days. Still I have 5 clicks for yesterday. The question is - from where? How to not worry in this situation? Everything which depends from our side has been done , and still 5 clicks for yesterday..

So in this case if you reply to their email that you have removed all ads and they tell you that you have counted clicks? Is it better to wait for that changes in the affiliate front-end before reply to the email ?

The post in 11 highlights they understand some clicks and impressions will come in from pages people have no idea still exist, hence why they are implementing the change on there side, so that there will be no clicks or impressions counted weather you sent a million impressions to there links or not.
    Its clear as day.
Once this is implemented and then we start getting more problems with them letting you re-access your account (like i am awaiting) then we can start to worry.

Sherlock is right. Googlebot even voted on my polls this year. It is curious by nature

However, you don't have to worry, as they said they're going to change the link system. Good decision from Bet365.

My account is still open, I even sent today a customised ad for approval.

I think they will soon be prompted to resume their advertising. Especially those who will continue to have a good commission.
