Bet365 affiliates are the biggest cheaters ever

Today i noticed that the Bet365 affilates are the biggest cheaters in the affilate bussiness.

Three days ago i received an e-mail from my affiliate manager.

He required from me to remove some pop up boxes that i had for bet365 and i did that.

But cause he is not able to clean his browser cache and check it correctly, he still said that i didn' remove them.

Seems that he was looking to find something, doesn't care if this a lie, to close my account, so bet365 can keep a revenue over 20000 euro that i made this month.

Last two days he wrote me some e-mails but since i was on a bussiness travel on these two days, spending most of the time in the airplanes, i was not able to reply him. So he found that this is a good opportunity to close my account, keeping my revenue that is over 20000 Euro this month and also all my commisions for the future since i brought them every month several new depositors.

I can suggest to all affilate participants not to promote bet365 because soon or later the they will try for different reasons to close your account, to keep your commisions and all your depositors you brought to bet365.

Chill out. I believe this is some kind of miscommunication.

Did he tell you the account is closed indefinitely or something like that? It seems to me weird for bet365, they have always shown some class.

I believe it probably has to do with the bonus. As the UK Gambling Commission has put pressure, they really wanted people to remove free bet materials, when they wont be present and valid.

Anyways if what you are saying were true, then we r all out of business and should pack up our bags and leave this industry, cause bet365 is sorta the last frontier.

Maybe he was still seeing traffic coming from those pages? where were the pop up boxes ? pirate site? porn or similar? usually good programs don't just close accounts for no reason, they hardly need the money and usually prefer the affiliate to carry on sending traffic. sure there are programs that are plain thieves but this seems to be something else....

They are just regular betting sites and they were not pop up boxes anymore, he affilate manager Josh Pizzie find out time there was interval of two days that i was not able to respond, so he set me a deadline for few hours to respond when he recognized, so he decided to close my account and keep my revenue.

The problem is not on bet365 side. UK Gambling Comission gave birth to this circus show. I think every bet365 affiliate manager must check many affiliates accounts/sites now within very short time frame. In this situation some misunderstandings unavoidable.

Hi,

We appreciate the concern.

Here is an overview of the current state of play.

1. All affiliates, without prejudice and without factoring in size, relationship, target market, were emailed about the UK sports opening account offer changes, initially asking them to a) confirm receipt of our email and b) subsequently confirm that they had removed any references of the UK Sports open account offer within our deadline.

2. We would have liked to send this with more notice but were unable to, due to wider business considerations.

3. The deadline given was 12pm UK time, Friday 29/09/17, to remove UK sports opening account offer promotion, after acknowledging our initial communication.

4. During the week, phone calls were attempted with those where no reply was received, to ensure that they had received the communication.

5. Chaser emails along with web messages were also sent out via our messaging tool.

6. At the deadline on Friday, any affiliates that had not confirmed receipt of the email, and had not confirmed the removal of any promotion, were added to a suspension list.

7. Anyone that acknowledged the email, or confirmed the removal of promotion, after the deadline, had already been added to the suspended list.

8. Accounts were suspended in order for us to establish contact with partners that didn’t acknowledge our communication, due to our compliance obligations.

9. No accounts have been closed, and we have no desire to close any account of any affiliate that wishes to work with us in a compliant manner.

10. For reassurance, suspension in this instance essentially means you cannot login to your account. It doesn’t mean that previous customers have been lost, or withdrawable balances have been affected, nor that players won’t track whilst your account is suspended.

11. We did initially mention changing commissions (for the suspension period) to 0% in our initial email, but we decided not to take this course for 99% of suspended affiliates.

12. Our own hosted content is a different matter entirely here, the priority is removing affiliate created content due to the longer lead times involved (because we don’t control affiliate content directly).

The overarching point is that bet365 has a regulatory obligation to ensure its affiliates do not promote misleading and/or expired offers.

We appreciate deadlines were tight for all parties involved, including ourselves, however this isn’t mitigation for not acknowledging our emails and phone calls in a climate where compliance is mandatory.

We are working hard to coordinate a huge undertaking of essentially removing the current UK Sports Open Account Offer from the internet. This is easier where our directly hosted content is concerned, but much more complex for any content that affiliates have created themselves.

If it transpires that there have been any errors (at our end) that have negatively impacted any affiliate, we will take responsibility and the required steps to remedy them. Our controls, checks, and deadlines here will have ensured that errors are very unlikely.

Finally, I/we rate every single member of our team very highly, and completely disagree with any opinion contrary to that.

This is the only public statement I am going to make on this.

The title should be edited. Bet365 are the only UK sports affiliate program that is not cheaters. They are honest guys and everyone should appreciate them.

If there is something not smooth it is mistakes or miscommunication. There was never until now intent to steal from honest affiliates and making a business with them is partnership. It is a foul to call them cheaters and doing that in online business based on trust means playing with self fulfilling prophecy.

At the moment i have a suspended account with a bigger revenue, with hundreds of new opened accounts and 8 years of hard work.

Of course it is good sign that James Woods replied even on Saturday to inform us about the situation and i appreciate that.
But there are still opened issues.
The title will be changed when my account will be open again and the issue will be marked as solved.

It seems that there is a major problem with suspended accounts. It appears also other affiliate accounts. Hope that these problems can solved during the upcoming week without setting any revenue to zero.
I will keep you informed.

There is a difference between suspended account and closed account and keeping the revenue.

I understand your concerns and it is stressful situation, but I recently got accounts really closed and revenue kept by cheaters (and I still do not call the cheaters publicly apart of Skybet) and this is not the situation. Nobody told you the account is definitely closed and **** off. Bet365 do not do that.

I have my account suspended too, and 2 of my friends the same problem, i'm sure that the problem will be fixed, i just don't know what we have to do? I sent a mail to support and i wait an answer, we have to do something or the accounts will be automatically unlocked.

I am not the one calling others cheaters without proof:

If you want it then my experience with UK programs:
Betfair/Paddy/Sportsbet(AU) - piece of ****, shaving, closing accounts and do not reply to emails
Ladbrokes/Coral - piece of ****, data can not be trusted, closing accounts and again, not even response
WH - shaving like hell, I am only pucky I have no big player database there
Betway - trying to get 1st payout over 1 year
Skybet - no comment needed
Please do not tell me I have nothing in my hand. Other people here share the same experience.

And then there you have Bet365, who really do not cheat, so do not call them cheaters please.

If it makes you calmer. I also had my account suspended by bet365 and I was also in panic, it was after all the reason why I registered on this forum. After everything was clarified, the account was unsuspended and everything was paid in full.

Ok, than the sentence "****" was a missunderstanding.

I believe you that Bet365 will solve the problem, i am working since 8 years with them and i didn't had any problems with them.
I understand that Bet365 is forced to do some changes cause of the gambling commission but i still believe they didn't handle the situation very well.

The deadline that they gave was very short. They give me 2,5 days to remove the popups and the banner promotions for UK accounts.
I removed the popups on the first day and for UK accounts i didn' have any UK banners since i am using english banners with the currency Euro and not with pounds.

The next two days i was on bussiness travel so i had no opportunity to handle.
During that time my affiliate manager claim that i am still using popup on the main page of my website, but this wasn't the case. It was maybe cause of his browser cache.
When i couldn't react during that time he thought he would be successful when he will thread me by suspending my account and setting my account to zero. By setting my account to zero he didn't mention that it was only for the weekend, so it should be for all the month according to him and than he suspended my account. That's not the right way if you want to have a healthy cooperation.
They were also other affiliates on Bet365 that didn't had the time of this short period to do changes and to react.
So i think Bet365 affiliates should inform their affiliate partners more deeply what exactly is the plan cause in this short period it is very difficult to succeed with the changes for all affiliates.

Today James Woods mentioned that it is planned only for the weekend and that will not happend to 99% of the accounts and gave some more explanations.
