Default Absolute slots changes their name to Slot power.

Got this email a few seconds ago.... Hate the name but that's just me

    Dear Affiliate,
AbsoluteSlots.com has been involved in a domain name dispute. The dispute could not be settled by the parties.
As a result of this AbsoluteSlots.com has officially changed its name to SlotPower.com.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU?

    1. Your AbsoluteSlots.com affiliate account will function without interruption. No need to sign up again as an affiliate.
    2. Your players will continue generating revenue for you.
    3. Your affiliate payments will be made and sent as usual.
    4. You will be getting new banners and a new link to the new site today and tomorrow.
    5. We will add a 15% BONUS COMMISSION to your account for April and May!!

    We apologise for any inconvenience.
    Best regards,
    Mark Winter

Default pumacat I agree with you

The new name is not appealing, they should have done a name contest here at GPWA, with this group of thinkers they would have ended up with a good name. We could have had some fun and they would have received the benefit, oh well maybe another time.

This really sucks, I just want to know if the tracking is already off or what kind of grace period we have to get these links changed. Awaiting a call from BEn or a post with more information.

Unfortunately, as Mark indicated in his emails and post, there is a dispute currently going on regarding payment of consulting fees and commissions due to us for the services we have rendered over the last six months. As you can imagine when an owner refuses to pay a consultant/master affiliate their fees and commissions this is not a good sign. It’s basically the same thing as stealing all of an affiliate players after guaranteing them payment for life and then adding on a failure to pay for additional services like salaries, artwork, banners, payment of the fees at GPWA and AGD etc? that they had agreed to. We are working on an amicable solution and hope that Absolute Slots continue working with its players and affiliate tracking maintained. We will keep you posted on the status of these discussions and we hope the owners do the fair and honest thing. If you have any questions regarding this please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected]

    Thank you,
    Ben

    Default update

    Dear Affiliates,
Please rest assured that the existing tracking links that you have for Absolute Slots remain fully operational for the time being. The new banners and tracking codes will be available in a few hours time, you will not lose any revenue as a result of the changeover.
I will contact you immediately the new banners for Slot Power become available.
We very much regret the short notice but unfortunately this was unavoidable. To compensate for any disruption we will be adding an extra 15% Commission Bonus to both your April and May paychecks.
All our Affiliate Payouts will be processed as normal, and there will be no interruption of your player statistics.
Please note that Slot Power is retaining everything at Absolute Slots excluding the domain name. This includes the exclusive slot games Goldenman and Diamond Temple, the Weekly and Monthly Slot Tournaments, and everything else normally associated with Absolute Slots.
I will be keeping you updated every step of the way.
Many thanks for your patience and I look forward to working with you on Slot Power.

Well this sounds pretty serious. I think it's safe to assume this is related to lou/warren/cap involvement with Absolute. Correct me if I am wrong.

As you know, many affiliates stopped promoting absolute slots due to effective media. Is effective media still running the affiliate program? Who is absolute refusing to pay?

Could you elaborate Ben? I am curious who is now running the aff program.

    BTW, I like the name!

    My thoughts exactly Mojo:
    https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/for....html#post5433

This is why I think full disclosure of EMG relationships is so important. People wanted to stick up for A.S. a lot and clearly they have a good owner, but that will not protect us as affiliates when the "good owner" has a problem with the "master affiliate" ...

I would like to know why stats have been static for about 5 days now. Seeing as I have not received an email to warn about a site migration,. I have sympathy for your situation but please keep us in the loop. It simply avoids us getting annoyed.

I would even more like to know why the Net Gaming and deposit amounts on our affiliate account are exactly the same for the whole month thus far.

The implies every dollar deposited was immediately lost.

    Not possible.

I have sent you three emails about this over a two week period with no reply. I can see you must be having a hard time, but all it takes is an email so we can stop wondering.

What is going on here? Really? What is the entire story or will we never get even half of it where only half of that half is actually true????

Just what we need more soap opera theatrics ... run forest run? OR is this a legit clean-up?

well the 1st thing who made me already think "oh whats wrong here"
is , why did you let us know this in last minute, the domain/site slotpower.com was not set up in only a few hours how i see it.

I do not trust anyone here,
until we find out what really happened
I advise my forum members to not play at your casino
no matter what name you currently have.

Here is the most important question at this stage:

Who is responsible for payment of outstanding Absolute Slots commissions.

    Marc,

What about March commissions? We have as yet not been paid.

Have the other affiliates here received their March Absolute Slots commissions?

    Hi StGeorge,

To the best of my knowledge all March commissions were paid as normal, and all future commissions will continue to be paid on time by Slot Power. If you have not received your March commission then please contact me directly at [email protected] and I'll look into this for you right away.

I would like to reassure you that we are doing our utmost to ensure that SlotPower.com, as the continuation of AbsoluteSlots.com, remains a quality casino and an exciting destination for players.

If anybody has any questions or concerns that you'd like addressed, please don't hesitate to contact me by email.

    Thank you.
